can i substitute i can’t believe it’s not butter fat-free spread for regular margarine? can i substitute splenda baking sugar for regular sugar? does it call for vanilla extract in the recipe or is it real vanilla? and would it taste completely different if i didn’t put in cinnamon and nutmeg?

what does it mean when it says that the margarine has to be softened and the powder sugar sifted?
i know i sound like an idiot asking these questions but i've never baked or homemade anything before.

You could use Splenda..it doesn’t lose its sweetness when baked. I would use regular butter, rather than margarine. (People don’t realize how bad that stuff is for you). I can’t believe it’s not butter may not work..you need some sort of fat. Plus those spreads contain alot of water.

You’ll lose alot of flavor without cinnamon and nutmeg. If you don’t have those on hand, allspice works nicely in replacement, but carrot cake always contains some sort of spice.

When they call for vanilla, they mean vanilla extract unless it specifically calls for a vanilla bean, which it does not.

PostHeaderIcon What powder coating gun should I invest in?

I want to start Powder Coating but am not sure what gun would be best to get. I am most concerned about getting a quality paint job then anything else. I am on a budget as well so if possible would like to getting a somewhat cheaper type. I will mostly be doing smaller parts so it speed does not matter for me. So any suggestions? If so then can you also tell me why I should get a certain type or brand? Like I said my concerns are quality and looks, not speed. I am not extremely knowledgeable on powder coating so any info would be great, Thanks…

I just sent your question on to my son who was in the powder coating business. Hope he has time to reply.

PostHeaderIcon If I were to powder coat my rims, would there be any way to restore them to their original condition? ?

I am about to lease a VW Rabbit, and I want to paint my wheels black. Is there anyway I would be able to restore them to their original condition? I know about plasti dip, but I’d prefer to use Powder Coating. Thanks

If its a lease dont even attempt it. You’d be better off buying a new set of rims. They are painted silver, just like you are painting over them black.
