I was looking to use this process as a possible alternative to anodizing in order to get a better color match and was wondering if it would be prohibitively expensive. Is this on par with anodizing or how does it compare to Powder Coating. Looking to coat a variety of gears, tubes, wheels, and other misc parts.

It is critical to specify what material your parts are made from in order to select an optimal coating solution. Generally speaking, titanium nitride coatings have the same wear and corrosion properties as anodization.

A precise cost estimate is impossible without specific information regarding parts characteristics, batch size. However, it is safe to say that titanium nitride coating would be more expensive than anodizing due to the complexity of the process involving a vacuum environment and high energy consumption.

I have a 31 foot fifth wheel with a breathable, powder coated rubberized roof. I want to seal it with rubberized, no breathable sealant, Snow Seal.

My question is, Will the Snow Seal adhere to the powder coated rubberized roof if I clean it with Dicor Primer/Cleaner, witch is recommended for cleaning this type of roof.

The reason I want to go to Snow Seal is that I think it would seal better and last longer than the breathable roofs because, the breathable roofs wined up with little black spots all over them that turn into little pin holes if one doesn’t recoat it every year or so.

I would like some information on the most economical, and best way to save and protect my roof.
Have already checked with RV. shop.

Call the RV deal and ash for body shop. Run this question by them. They give you name of sealer and what step need to be done. Put worng sealer on could eat holes in the roof.

I have black powder coated alloy wheels the black paint and white primer underneath both have been chipped off
will they rust?

alloys are aluminum if they are really alloys. Aluminum doesn’t rust . it does however corrode.
