PostHeaderIcon How do you clean and polish Powder Coated Chrome?

I have a motorcycle that has a powder coated frame. What can I use to get it cleaned and shining? It is very very dull right now…

Mel – pie u said powder coat chrome…. u mean paint. If it is really dull get some Dupont white polish compound and HAND RUB till the milky surface is gone. Then use turtle wax.

I used a compound called TR-3 years ago and it worked well too, but haven't seen it in years. Remember HAND! These compounds will take all the paint off pretty quick with an electric buffer.

What kind of paint shall I use on my custom motorcycle frame?

Powder coats are pretty stong, I would think any quality paint polish would do. Maybe check local body shop

There is no such thing as powder coated chrome. If its chrome use Mothers Mag and Aluminum cleaner. If it's powder coat use most any auto cleaner.
