FANUC Robotics Dumpster Powder Coat P250 through Booth Wall Opening Simulation
FANUC Robotics ACGI created simulation to prove out the capability of a P-250 reach through an opening of an existing powder coat booth and paint the inside of a dumpster. The dumpster is hanging from chains from an overhead conveyor. The dumpsters are first conveyed through a bank of reciprocating powder guns. The robot would replace the manual painters who paint through the window openings today and remove them from the hazardous environment.
