PostHeaderIcon Will a Shot blasting company be able to take 50 year old stoneguard etc off a chassis, prior to powder coating?

I have stripped a vehicle to bare chassis, but its got 50 year old stoneguard, shutz etc on. would they be able to blast it off, as i want metal rid of any rust. Cheers.

Yes, if the medium the sandblaster uses is coarse enough and they have enough air pressure to do the job……If not you will have to remove it with kerosene or paint solvent, well soaked and a good putty knife… Hope this helps (i have been there before).
